ADF has 30 years experience working in more than 35 countries in Africa, Asia, Central America and the Caribbean, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. ADF programs provide training, technical assistance, and grants designed to strengthen democratic values, institutions, and processes and promote democratic governance and economic and social development. ADF programs encompass civil society capacity building, advocacy, public transparency and accountability, community mobilization and development, local governance, civic education, human rights, local economic development, small and medium-sized enterprise development, and agricultural development.
