Strives to save the greatest number of children at the lowest possible cost. Established in 1985 as a public charity, the Child Health Foundation supports the development of low-cost, practical solutions to improve the health of children and their families in developing countries, as well as in disadvantaged communities in the United States. The foundation focuses on prevention and treatment of dehydration from diarrhea, which kills millions of children worldwide. It also raises funds and coordinates projects for emergency relief, public health outreach, and health professionals' research, education, and training.
